Lower Ossington Theatre
Coming from the west on the Gardiner Expressway
- Take the Lake Shore Blvd/Jameson Ave exit (0.5 km)
- Slight left at Lake Shore Blvd W (0.3 km)
- Slight left at British Columbia Rd (0.5 km)
- Continue on Dufferin St (1.1 km)
- Turn right at Queen St W (0.5 km)
- Turn left at Dovercourt Rd (0.2 km)
- Turn right at Humbert St. (0.2 km)
Coming from the East on the Gardiner Expressway
- Take the Lake Shore Blvd/Spadina Ave exit (0.4 km)
- Merge onto Lake Shore Blvd W (1.3 km)
- Slight right toward Strachan Ave (0.2 km)
- Turn right at Strachan Ave (1.2 km)
- Turn left at Queen St W (0.8 km)
- Turn right at Dovercourt Rd (0.2 km)
- Turn right at Humbert St (0.2 km)
Coming from the North:
- Head south on Bathurst Street
- Turn right at Dupont St (1.2 km)
- Turn left at Ossington Ave (2.4 km)

The Lower Ossington Theatre is located one block north of Humbert Street on the west side of Ossington Avenue.
Unloading buses
For traffic safety reasons, buses should not stop on Ossington Avenue. Rather, buses should follow the directions above and stop on Humbert Street in front of Senhor Canto Cristo Catholic School and await a Classical Theatre Project representative.
TTC
The Lower Ossington Theatre is conveniently located close to two TTC routes: TTC Bus Route 63 and the Queen Streetcar Line.
TTC Bus 63 departs south from Ossington subway station and stops at Ossington Avenue and Argyle Street (110 Ossington). The theatre is just south of this stop at 100 Ossington Avenue.
The Queen West Streetcar stops at the north east corner of Queen Street West and Ossington Avenue. Walk north two blocks to the theatre at 100 Ossington Avenue.
Hart House Theatre
From downtown Toronto
Drive west along Wellesley Street, behind the Parliament Buildings. Go under the bridge at the west side of Queen's Park. This is where Wellesley Street turns into Hart House Circle. Turn right immediately past the bridge and you will be facing Hart House.
From the Gardiner Expressway
Exit at York Street. Driving north, York Street runs into University Avenue. At College Street, University Avenue becomes Queen's Park Crescent. Turn left on Wellesley Street (the first light north of College) and follow the directions above.
From the 401
Exit at Avenue Road and drive south. At Bloor Street, Avenue Road becomes Queen's Park Crescent. Stay in the outside lane and follow it around the park until it exits towards the Parliament Buildings. At the stop sign, turn right. This is Wellesley Street and the entrance to the University as noted above.
The Hart House Theatre is located at 7 Hart House Circle on the University of Toronto campus.
Unloading buses
School buses are not permitted to unload students in front of Hart House on the north side of Hart House Circle. Buses must unload at the south side of Hart House Circle.
TTC
Exit at Museum Station (on the University-Spadina line). Exit the station on the west side (same side as the ROM). Walk south on the West side of Queen’s Park Crescent. Just before you reach the Wellesley Street underpass, there is a stairway on your right which will bring you down to Hart House Circle right in from of Hart House. Please assemble your students on the lawn directly facing Hart House and wait until you are greeted by a representative from the Classical Theatre Project.
