Based in Toronto, we are Canada's only classical repertory company dedicated to performing for student audiences. We have proven time and again that Shakespeare can be fun, accessible, and most importantly, inspiring. Since 2001, Classical Theatre Project has entertained and inspiried students with the classics. Our shows have ranged from traditional Elizabethan productions to some of the most original and innovative adaptations available to student audiences - all while remaining faithful to the original text.
We get students talking. It's not just about helping them understand the plays: it's about engaging them, challenging them, and helping them to understand themselves. At the heart of our work sits the CTP Manifesto:

Ten years, two Dora Award nominations and over 500,000 students later, we still believe this.
