Mikael Kangas

(Lighting Designer)

Mikael designs lights for dance, drama, musical theatre, opera, galleries and events. Mikael’s recent work includes: Alladin (Mirvish/Disney, PA); CATS (Mirvish, ALD); Spring Showcase 2013 (George Brown Dance); Next to Normal (LOT); The Buddy Holly Story (LOT); Merry Widow (Opera York); NINE (Randolph). Mikael has assisted at Mirvish, Tarragon Theatre, the National Ballet School of Canada and Banff Centre amongst others. Mikael is a graduate of Ryerson University and is an associate member of the Associated Designers of Canada.
