Jeffrey Simlett

Jeffrey is an actor, educator and voice/speech coach who hails from Nova Scotia. He has been with the Classical Theatre Project since 2006, and is the company’s current Education Director. Favorite roles include “Pap/Duke”, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn; “Tiresias”, Oedipus Rex; “Peter Quince”, A Midsummer Night’s Dream; and “Montano”, Othello. He recently performed with Italy’s Compagnia Pippo Delbono at Toronto’s World Stage Festival. Jeffrey has taught at York University, Towson University (Baltimore), and the Canadian National Voice Intensive, in addition to having been core faculty at Northwestern University’s National High School Institute since 2001.
